I painted this as an observation for many people who have a mindset on Mondays. It used to be the first day of the work week for many, Wednesday was hump day and Friday was in preparation for the week-end. After all there was even a song by ‘The Carpenters’ called “Rainy Days and Mondays”. In current times I have met many people who work two to three jobs to just earn enough to keep going. All they do is eat, work and sleep day in and day out, they are hard working humans. They are in a state of worry when they think of all the events of current times, the economy and terrorism, wars on this and wars on that. They are on an edge holding on with all their might with the hope that all humans will do the right thing.
